About the Winery
Sylvain Dabadie, the third generation after Charles and Pierre, took over the family estate in 2014. He has reoriented vineyard management, renewed the cuvées, and engaged the organic conversion of the 25-hectare vineyard. His Madiran and Pacherenc wines are regularly featured in competitions and the press. The estate is located in the Pyrenean foothills, at the crossroads of Gers, Hautes-Pyrénées, and Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The Madiran vineyard is one of the oldest in France, its reputation already established among pilgrims on the Way of Saint James.
“A third-generation estate in Viella producing organic Madiran and Pacherenc wines from 25 hectares in the Pyrenean foothills.”
