About the Winery

A leading figure in Bourgueil and Saint-Nicolas since his establishment in 1991, Frédéric Mabileau built a 35-hectare estate practicing organic agriculture since 2007 and biodynamics since 2012. Following his accidental death in 2020, his wife Nathalie, then his son Remy, took over. Charly, the other son, opened Chez Odette, a restaurant dedicated to local and seasonal cuisine in the courtyard of the domaine. The estate produces exceptional Cabernet Franc wines from the gravel terraces of Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil and has received numerous accolades.
