Domaine de Bonserine
2, chem. de la Viallière, 69420 Ampuis, France
About the Winery
By acquiring this estate founded in 1961, enlarged and modernized in the 1990s, Marcel Guigal added a jewel to his already richly decorated crown in 2006: a 12-hectare vineyard, planted mainly with 'serine', the ancient variety of Syrah, producing Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu. The estate retains complete autonomy over production and sales despite being part of the Guigal family. HVE3 certified, the domaine is located on the steep terraces of Ampuis in the Northern Rhône. Tasting cellar is open Monday to Friday, with Saturday visits by appointment.
