About the Winery

Agamy (an anagram of 'gamay') was formed through the union of two major Beaujolais cooperatives in 2010: one in the far south (Bully) and another further north (Quincié), in the Beaujolais-Villages and crus zone. The négociant Louis Tête joined in 2012. Since 2016, the caves of the Coteaux du Lyonnais and the Vignerons foréziens have strengthened the structure. The group now counts a total of 900 hectares of vines, making it one of the largest wine producers in the region. Agamy produces wines across all Beaujolais appellations including Beaujolais, Beaujolais-Villages, and the ten crus.

A major Beaujolais cooperative union formed in 2010, grouping 900 hectares across all Beaujolais appellations.
