About the Winery
This 11-hectare domaine, whose origins date back to 1770, is located in the heart of the Pouilly vineyard. Long operated by the Barillot family, it was taken over (and renamed) in 2024 by the young Loris Guyon, freshly graduated. The estate produces Pouilly-Fumé and Pouilly-sur-Loire wines from Sauvignon Blanc and Chasselas grapes, with vines aged 40-70 years rooted in the limestone and flint soils that give Pouilly-Fumé its hallmark minerality and aromatic depth. The domaine is certified HVE and vinifies in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve aromatics.
“An estate with origins in 1770 in the heart of Pouilly, now under new young leadership producing mineral Pouilly-Fumé from old vines.”
