About the Winery
Installed on the right bank of the Tarn, at the level of the first côtes of Gaillac, this family domaine, regular in quality, was founded in 1865. It has 50 hectares of vines now run by the sixth generation of Barreau: Sylvain and Romain. The estate produces red, white, Rose and sparkling wines under the Gaillac AOP, using traditional grape varieties including Mauzac, Len de l'El, Duras, Braucol and Syrah. The domaine is known for its consistent quality and commitment to expressing the unique terroir of the Gaillac region with its clay-limestone soils and Mediterranean climate influence.
