Caves de la Loire
About the Winery
Founded in 1961, the Confrérie des Vignerons de Oisly et Thésée is a cooperative that brings together about twenty members for 200 hectares of vines in Cheverny and Touraine appellations. An innovative cooperative, it was one of the first in the Loire to invest in thermoregulation in 1975, and serves as a testing platform for microbiology for the Institut Technique de la Vigne et du Vin (ITV) of Tours. The cooperative produces red, white, Rose and sparkling wines (Crémant de Loire) from Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay, Pinot Noir, Romorantin and other Loire varieties. The wines are known for their freshness, typicity and excellent value for money.
“An innovative cooperative since 1961 with 200 hectares in Cheverny and Touraine, a pioneer in thermoregulation and research.”
