Earl la Grappe dorée (Cave Delalex)
About the Winery
The Marin cru is a delicious hillside of about twenty hectares planted with Chasselas, on the shores of Lake Léman. Among the handful of producers living from the vine are Samuel and Benoît Delalex, at the head of a family estate of 9 hectares that specialized in viticulture in the 1960s. One of the leaders of the cru, often present in the Guide. The family produces mainly a dry and fruity white wine from the Chasselas grape variety, as well as red wines (Gamay and Pinot Noir), Rose, and Crémant de Savoie. Like the Swiss Fendant, the wines of the Pays du Léman are made from the Chasselas grape, a rarity in France. The estate also produces a delicious grape juice. Labelled 'Bienvenue à la ferme'.
“A 9-hectare family estate on the shores of Lake Léman, specializing in Chasselas white wines, one of the leaders of the Marin cru.”
