Château de Vauclaire
About the Winery
This property, in the Sallier family since 1774, has a 30-hectare vineyard on contiguous hillsides commanded by a Florentine-style bastide. Since 2013, Adeline Sallier, established in 1982, has been accompanied by her daughter Charlotte, who works in the cellar. Organic certification is in progress. The estate is one of the last practitioners of polyculture in Provence, also cultivating 55 hectares of cereals (durum wheat, seed sunflower, chickpeas and corn). The property offers a beautiful 3-star gîte that can accommodate 4 to 6 people. Open March to October, the estate offers guided tours of the cellar and tastings of Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence and IGP Méditerranée wines.
