Earl Koehly
About the Winery
In the 1930s, the Koehly family practiced mixed farming and sold the produce of their 50 ares of vines to the cooperative. Jean-Marie Koehly, established in 1976, specialized the family property and passed it on in 2015 to his son Joseph. Located at the foot of the Haut-Kœnigsbourg, the vineyard has 25 hectares spread over seven communes, spanning both Alsatian departments. The estate is certified HVE (High Environmental Value). The domaine produces the full range of Alsace wines from the seven traditional grape varieties, including Crémant d'Alsace and late harvest wines. The Koehly family also organizes themed evenings and events at the estate.
