About the Winery

An officer in the armies of Louis XIV, the first Dussourt settled in Alsace at the end of the 17th century, and his descendants soon became interested in wine. André started bottling in 1964 before handing over to his son Paul in 1987. Covering nearly 14 hectares, the domaine has been certified organic since 2022 and is based in Scherwiller, a village near Sélestat that benefits from a communal denomination for its Riesling. The estate produces the full range of Alsace wines from the seven traditional grape varieties, including Grand Cru wines, Crémant d'Alsace, and late harvest wines. The family's long history in the region is reflected in wines that express the unique terroir of Scherwiller.

A family with roots in Alsace since the 17th century, now farming 14 hectares organically in Scherwiller, known for its Riesling.
