About the Winery

Founded in 1947 in Avize by seven winegrowers, this cooperative moved to Reims in 1959 and experienced significant growth in the 1980s. Palmer & Co sources grapes from 415 hectares spread across about forty crus, half of which is in the Montagne de Reims. Palmer is the house brand. Chardonnay and reserve wines, kept in soleras, feature prominently in the cuvées, which age for a minimum of 3 years. With more than 200 hectares classified as Grand and Premier Crus, the house style is dominated by the freshness and purity of Chardonnay, creating wines of balance and elegance. Annual production is approximately 700,000 bottles. Rémi Vervier serves as Managing Director and Xavier Berdin as Chef de Caves.
