About the Winery
Directed by Francis Runner since 1997, this family estate was created in 1935 and covers nearly 12 hectares around Pfaffenheim, south of Colmar. The domaine has vines in the local Grand Cru, the Steinert, which gives their wines a distinctive terroir expression. The estate produces the full range of Alsace wines from the seven traditional grape varieties, including Grand Cru wines and Crémant d'Alsace. The Runner family has been rooted in the Pfaffenheim terroir for over 80 years, maintaining a commitment to quality winemaking that expresses the unique character of their vineyards.
