About the Winery
A family property handed down from father to son since 1850, André and his wife Nathalie welcome visitors to their estate in Wolxheim, at the beginning of the Alsace Wine Route, near Strasbourg in the 'Couronne d'Or' (Golden Crown). The village is known for its Riesling thanks to the quality of its vineyard soils. Two great terroirs can be distinguished: the Grand Cru Altenberg de Wolxheim and the Lieu-dit Rothstein. The estate produces all seven Alsace grape varieties, Grand Cru wines, Crémant, late harvest wines, Sélection de Grains Nobles, and Eaux-de-Vie. Free tastings for individuals, cellar visits. Groups welcome on request up to 50 people. The estate is accessible to people with reduced mobility and has bus parking.
