Sas maison alexandre Bonnet
About the Winery
Founded in 1970 by René, Serge and Alain Bonnet with a rich family history in winemaking tracing back to 1934, the Alexandre Bonnet estate is located in the Côte des Bar, in the southern Champagne region. Owner of the Lanson-BCC group since 1998, Alexandre Bonnet has been run since 2019 by Arnaud Fabre. The estate's 47 hectares are essentially situated at Les Riceys, on the highly reputed cru planted on Jurassic Kimmeridgian limestone hillsides at 250 meters altitude. Pinot Noir represents 93% of plantings, with 10 varieties cultivated. The estate is certified HVE3 since 2015 and a third of the area is under organic conversion. Non-interventionist vinification with minimal sulfuring, using only first press juice. The domain produces three AOCs: Champagne, Coteaux Champenois (still wines), and Rose des Riceys. The Champagne range includes Blanc de Noirs, Blanc de Blancs, and Rose cuvées.
