About the Winery
Established in Zellenberg near Riquewihr, this estate has origins dating back to 1610. Today it is managed by two brothers, Jean-Philippe and Jean-François Becker. These winemakers own 10 hectares, farmed organically and certified since 2001. The estate produces the full range of Alsace wines from the seven traditional grape varieties, including Grand Cru wines, Crémant d'Alsace, Vendanges Tardives and Sélection de Grains Nobles. The Becker family has been deeply rooted in the terroir of Zellenberg for over four centuries, maintaining a commitment to organic viticulture long before it became widespread.
