About the Winery

The Adam-Garnotel Champagne house is a family business deeply rooted in the heritage of the Champagne region. The story began in 1899, when Louis Adam founded the original Champagne house in Rilly-la-Montagne, located between Reims and Épernay in the heart of the prestigious Montagne de Reims. The estate remained in the family for generations, passing from Louis Adam to his son Rémy, and later to his daughter Annick. In 1971, following her marriage to Dominique Garnotel, the family legacy evolved into the Adam-Garnotel brand. Today, the great-grandson of the founder continues to develop the house under the name C. Garnotel, preserving its heritage while guiding the winery into a new era of international recognition. The estate cultivates around 10 hectares of Premier Cru vineyards with the three classic Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
