Domaine philippe Vandelle
About the Winery
The Vandelle family arrived in L'Étoile in the 1880s. Philippe Vandelle established his domaine in 2001 at the foot of the village. He now runs the 15-hectare property with his son Valentin, who joined in 2021. The estate produces wines under the L'Étoile appellation and is also known for its crémant. A reliable producer in the appellation, the domaine crafts traditional Jura wines including whites from Chardonnay and Savagnin. Their 'Tradition Vieilles Vignes' is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Savagnin that matures for 2 years in oak barrels. The domaine also produces Vin de Paille, Vin Jaune, Macvin and Crémant du Jura, showcasing the full range of Jura specialties.
“A safe bet of the L'Étoile appellation, producing traditional Jura wines including Chardonnay-Savagnin blends and crémant on 15 hectares.”
