About the Winery

Domaine Welty is a family-owned Alsace wine estate with origins dating back to 1738, now in its 9th generation with Jérémy Welty at the helm. The estate is located in Orschwihr at the southern end of the Alsace Wine Route, at the foot of the Bollenberg hill. The property is housed in a historic tithe courtyard (cour dîmière) built in 1579, which is classified as a historical monument. The estate is certified organic and produces a range of Alsace wines including Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Crémant d'Alsace. Their Gewurztraminer cuvées, particularly the Vendanges Tardives from the Bollenberg, are regularly distinguished in wine guides.

A 9th-generation family estate since 1738, certified organic, in a 16th-century historical monument.
