About the Winery

Domaine Saint-Rémy Ehrhart is a prestigious Alsace estate with the Ehrhart family farming the diverse terroirs of Alsace since 1725. Based in Wettolsheim, five kilometers west of Colmar, Philippe and Corinne Ehrhart farm 24 hectares across 11 communes in the Haut-Rhin. A new generation has joined with Florian and Margot. The estate is certified organic and biodynamic (Demeter). Among their holdings are four Grand Cru terroirs: Hengst, Brand, Goldert, and Schlossberg. The Ehrharts believe in separate vinifications for each parcel, with all grapes hand-harvested, gently pressed, and fermented traditionally with native yeasts. Their Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Hengst was named the World's Best Gewurztraminer. The estate's wines are known for opulent aromatics, striking minerality, and clean acidity.
