About the Winery

Domaine Specht is a family-owned Alsace wine estate founded in 1955 by Alfred Specht, now in its third generation with brothers Benjamin and Thibault at the helm. Located in Mittelwihr, in the heart of the Alsace Wine Route, the estate benefits from an exceptional microclimate and produces wines from the Grand Cru Mandelberg vineyard. The domaine is certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) and began conversion to organic farming in 2020, with the 2023 vintage being their first certified organic. They produce a full range of Alsace wines including Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Sylvaner, Muscat, and Crémant d'Alsace, as well as Vendanges Tardives and Sélection de Grains Nobles. Their wines are known for generosity, elegance, and typicity.
