About the Winery
Maison Louis Latour is one of Burgundy's most prestigious and historic wine houses, founded in 1797 and remaining independent and family-owned for over 225 years. Currently run by the 11th generation of the Latour family, the house owns an exceptional 48-hectare estate consisting mainly of Premier and Grand Crus vineyards, ranging from Chambertin and Romanée-Saint-Vivant in the Côte de Nuits to Corton, Corton-Charlemagne, and Chevalier-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune. Maison Louis Latour has the largest holding of Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte d'Or with a total of 28.63 hectares. The house is renowned for both its estate wines and its négociant activities, maintaining traditional Burgundian winemaking methods while embracing modern techniques. Their wines are celebrated worldwide for their elegance, terroir expression, and aging potential.
