About the Winery

Champagne Drappier is a historic Champagne house founded in 1808, located in Urville in the Aube region of Champagne (Côte des Bar). The house is known for its distinctive style that emphasizes Pinot Noir, giving their Champagnes richness and body. Drappier has a long history of innovation - they were pioneers in using low-dosage techniques and were one of the first houses to revive the historically low-sulfur Champagne methods. The house owns 62 hectares of vineyards and sources grapes from another 50 hectares, giving them exceptional control over quality. The Drappier cellars, dating back to the 12th century, are among the oldest in Champagne. The house produces a range from Brut Nature to prestige cuvées including the famous Grande Sendrée.

A historic Champagne house since 1808, renowned for Pinot Noir-based Champagnes and historic cellars.
