Domaine la Ligière
About the Winery
The domaine, founded in the 19th century, has been in the Bernard family for five generations. Philippe Bernard and his wife Élizabeth left the cooperative in 2008 and created their own cellar. They manage 60 hectares of vines, certified organic since 2013. The estate produces wines from Beaumes-de-Venise (red and the famous Muscat), Vacqueyras, Gigondas, and Côtes du Rhône. Their Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise is particularly noteworthy for its balance and elegance. The diversity of soil types — ranging from pure sand to gravel and clay — provides a rich palette for crafting harmonious wines.
“A five-generation organic estate since 2013, crafting wines from Beaumes-de-Venise, Vacqueyras, and Gigondas.”
