Christophe Cuer
About the Winery
Christophe Cuer took over from his father Alain Cuer in 2001 and has been making and bottling wines at the domain since then. The 5-hectare estate features 40-50-year-old vineyards of Côtes du Rhône Village Roaix situated at 300 meters altitude. He also rents 3.5 hectares of Vinsobres, with the first vintage from there produced in 2012. The vineyards are cultivated following organic agriculture principles but are not certified. The estate produces wines that reflect the unique character of Roaix, with its clay-limestone soils and exceptional sun exposure facing the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux.
“An estate crafting wines from old vines at 300 meters altitude, with views of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail.”
