Château d' Avize

About the Winery

An estate in the Côte des Blancs, acquired in 2010 by Russian businessman Boris Titof, who passed it to his son Pavel. Located at the foot of the Château d'Avize (19th century), the vineyard consists of a single 2.13-hectare parcel. It is farmed biodynamically (organic certification in 2015 and biodynamic certification in 2018). The champagnes are crafted in the same spirit under the direction of oenologist Hervé Jestin, in partnership with Maison Leclerc Briant. The wines are 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs from Grand Cru vineyards, aged 80% in oak barrels with very low dosage.
