About the Winery

Founded in 1986, the Domaine des Abbayes du Barroux brings together vines exploited by the monks of Sainte-Madeleine and the nuns of Notre-Dame de l'Annonciation, whose grapes are vinified by the cave des vignerons de Beaumont du Ventoux. In 2016, this association between the religious community and the cooperative gave birth to the Caritas wine range. The estate produces wines from the Ventoux and Côtes du Rhône appellations, with the monastic commitment to quality and prayer-infused care for the vineyards. The monks follow the Rule of Saint Benedict, combining prayer, work, and community life.
