About the Winery
Owners of Château Marquis de Terme (Margaux) and Val d'Arenc (Bandol), the Sénéclauze family acquired Château Lauzade in 2007. The origins of this estate date back to 46 BC, when a Roman villa was built on this clay-limestone and sandstone terroir. The property is dotted with natural springs, symbolized by its emblem: an 18th-century fountain still in operation. The 45-hectare vineyard is currently converting to organic farming. The estate produces wines from the Provence region, benefiting from its unique terroir and the expertise of the Sénéclauze family.
“An estate with roots dating to Roman times, now owned by the Sénéclauze family and converting to organic viticulture.”
