Domaine Boehler
About the Winery
Despite Molsheim's industrial heritage (Bugatti), the town remains attached to wine. The Boehler family's wine dream dates back centuries — they were tanners from father to son under the Ancien Régime. Antoine Boehler (died 1827) first looked up to the Bruderthal cru and bought the first vine rows. The domaine was officially created in 1892, with the first bottling in 1970. René and Josiane took over in 1989, specializing, expanding, and modernizing the 8-hectare property (in organic conversion), which they passed to their son Julien in 2018. The estate produces wines from the Alsace Grand Cru Bruderthal and other terroirs around Molsheim.
“A historic Alsace estate with roots dating to 1827, now in organic conversion and producing wines from the Grand Cru Bruderthal.”
