About the Winery

Originally a mixed farming property, this family estate has been dedicated exclusively to viticulture since 1979. Pierre Gauthier, assisted by his son Rodolphe, manages a 17.7-hectare domaine that has been certified organic since 2000. Located in Benais in the Loire Valley, the estate produces wines from Bourgueil and other Loire appellations, specializing in Cabernet Franc. The long-standing organic commitment demonstrates the family's dedication to sustainable viticulture and expressing the true character of their terroir.
