Domaine Huguet

12, rue de la Franchetière, 41350 Saint-Claude-de-Diray, France

About the Winery

Domaine Huguet was founded in 1873 and is now in its fourth generation of family winemaking. The estate is situated between the famous Châteaux de Blois and Chambord, on the banks of the Loire River. The 10-hectare vineyard is planted on a silico-gravelly plateau facing the Loire, giving the wines a distinctive character. The vines are cultivated using reasoned agriculture, with grassing between rows to limit chemical weeding and promote beneficial fauna. The estate produces Cheverny white, red, Rose, and Crémant de Loire, as well as Cour-Cheverny wines.

A fourth-generation Loire Valley estate since 1873, crafting distinctive Cheverny and Crémant de Loire between Blois and Chambord.
