Philippe Bulabois
About the Winery
Domaine Philippe Bulabois is a 9-hectare estate in the Jura region, specializing in the Savagnin grape variety which occupies half of the vineyard. Located in the marls of the Arbois appellation, the estate was taken over in 2002 by Philippe Bulabois. The young vines are worked with Comtois draft horses born on the estate. The estate has been committed to organic farming since 2020, producing excellent Côtes du Jura and Arbois wines, Crémants, and Macvins. The Savagnin grape thrives in the blue marl soils that are characteristic of the Jura terroir. The domaine produces wines that express the unique mineral character of these ancient soils.
“A 9-hectare Jura estate where Savagnin reigns supreme, worked with Comtois draft horses and committed to organic viticulture.”
