About the Winery

Sébastien Magnien, a viticultural technician and oenologist by training, took over the family estate in 2004 with his mother Brigitte Magnien, representing the fourth generation of viticulturists. During his training, he completed internships at prestigious Burgundy estates including Domaine Rossignol-Trapet in Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Olivier Leflaive in Puligny-Montrachet, and Domaine du Château de Santenay, as well as Hartford Court in California. The domaine today extends over 12 hectares (8 hectares of Pinot Noir) across prestigious appellations including Beaune, Pommard, Volnay, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Saint-Romain, and Hautes-Côtes de Beaune. The estate practices reasoned viticulture, using no chemical herbicides or insecticides. Soils are worked by ploughing to keep them alive. Hand-harvested grapes are sorted carefully at the vine and again on vibrating sorting tables. The wines are aged exclusively in oak barrels for 12-18 months for reds and 12-15 months for whites.

A fourth-generation Burgundy estate crafting wines from prestigious appellations from Beaune to Meursault with meticulous vineyard care.
