Domaine Fournillon
About the Winery
Domaine Fournillon is a family-run estate located in Bernouil, a small wine-producing village in the Tonnerrois region of Burgundy. The estate is home to the famous 'Vigne de l'Empereur,' a pre-phylloxera Chardonnay vine that is nearly 200 years old, planted in 1835. Led by Pascal Fournillon since 2004, the domaine covers 26 hectares across the Chablisien, Épineuil, and Bernouil areas in the Tonnerrois. The estate's vineyards are situated on some of the best slopes in Fleys within the Chablis region, as well as in Épineuil and Bernouil. Their wines are aged in the domaine's cellars and they welcome visitors to discover their range, which includes Bourgogne Blanc, Épineuil, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru, and Crémant de Bourgogne. The domaine is proud of its heritage and continues traditional winemaking practices passed down through generations.
