About the Winery

Pierre Amadieu is a renowned wine estate in Vacqueyras in the southern Rhône Valley. Founded in 1929, the estate is known for crafting powerful and elegant wines from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grapes. Vacqueyras was elevated to Cru status in 1990, joining the elite group of southern Rhône appellations. The estate's vineyards are planted on the characteristic terroir of the region, with galets roulés (rolled stones) that store heat during the day and release it at night, ensuring optimal grape ripening. Pierre Amadieu produces wines of great concentration and aging potential.
