Gilles Méziat is a wine producer based in Chiroubles, one of the ten Beaujolais Crus. The estate produces wines from old Gamay vines grown on the steep, pink granite slopes that characterize the Chiroubles appellation. Chiroubles is known as the 'most Beaujolais of the Crus' for its light, elegant, and highly aromatic wines. Gilles Méziat's wines express the unique terroir of Chiroubles, with its high altitude and sandy-granite soils producing wines of exceptional finesse and perfume.
