About the Winery
In 2014, Simon Ribert took over his grandfather's vineyard of about 3 hectares in Madiran. By cultivating 80-year-old vines with his grandfather, he confirmed his vocation as a winegrower. He trained for a year at Château Montus. His wines are currently vinified at the Castelnau-Rivière-Basse cooperative in partnership with Alain Brumont's vineyards. He applies biodynamic principles without certification, as an 'artisan vigneron.' In 2019, at age 26, he presented his first vintage.
“A young artisan vigneron who took over 3 hectares of old vines in Madiran in 2014, practicing biodynamic principles.”
