About the Winery

With 28 years of experience at one of Chinon's finest estates, Jean-Max Manceau now devotes himself to the 20-hectare family property he took over with his wife Odile in 2002. The domain is managed using certified organic and biodynamic methods. They produce six Chinon red wines from Cabernet Franc, a Rose, and since 2015, two Chinon Chenin Blanc white wines including 'Amphora' aged in Italian amphorae. The estate offers unique experiences including vineyard hikes and troglodyte cellar lunches.
