Hameau des vignerons de Carcès

About the Winery

Founded in 1910 as 'La Carçoise' before becoming Hameau des Vignerons de Carcès in 2007, this cooperative is the third largest in the Var department with approximately 160 producers and 630 hectares of vines. The cooperative shifted focus to Rose production in the mid-1980s and renewed much of its grape varieties, adopting aromatic varieties with lower yields. Today it vinifies about 530 hectares, producing Côtes de Provence AOC and Vin de Pays du Var wines in red, white, and Rose.
