About the Winery

La Seigneurie is a family winery perched on the highest limestone hillsides (tuffeau) overlooking the Saumur region. Founded in 1969 by Pierre-Louis Foucher, the estate was taken over in 2005 by his son Alban Foucher, who brought international experience from working in Asia, North America, and Australia. The vineyard covers approximately 20 hectares, farmed using organic methods since 2023. The estate produces Saumur Champigny, Saumur Blanc, Crémant de Loire, and Rose wines, with their tasting room offering a stunning 180-degree panoramic view of the Loire Valley.
