Clos Hédoné
About the Winery
Clos Hédoné was born in 2019 from a long-standing friendship between Christophe Pavageau (oenologist) and Arnaud Lagardère (master of chai), school bench companions who reunited around wine. This small 2-hectare vineyard is dominated by Merlot (78%) with Cabernet Franc (22%), situated in Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes in the heart of Saint-Émilion's finest terroirs. The wines are crafted with ambition and careful barrel aging, offered in an original bottle shape not used since the 19th century. The estate is certified HVE3 and Agriconfiance, producing only about 10,000 bottles annually. Tastings are available by appointment.
