About the Winery

Domaine Charles Pain is a reliable value in the Chinon appellation, created in 1986 by Charles Pain. The estate is located on the right bank of the Vienne River, with vineyards extending across 55 hectares spread over five communes on both sides of the river. The majority south-facing exposure allows for quality production, with 25% dedicated to Rose de saignée. The domaine also offers a gîte for 8 people and a reception room for 60 people, making it a destination for wine tourism. The estate is certified Terra Vitis and is recognized as a Cave Excellence by Interloire and an independent winegrower.
