Les Remizières
About the Winery
Domaine des Remizières is a family adventure spanning several generations in the northern Rhône Valley. Alphonse Desmeure began by bringing his harvest to the cooperative until 1973, when his son Philippe developed the property, starting estate bottling in 1977 and expanding the vineyard to 36 hectares today. The estate now covers 38 hectares from Crozes-Hermitage to Saint-Joseph, farmed organically (though not certified). Philippe's children Émilie and Christophe now work alongside him, continuing the tradition while embracing modernity. The family produces wines across multiple northern Rhône appellations including Crozes-Hermitage, Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, and Cornas. A négociant activity was created in 2010 to diversify production. The estate is certified HVE and is a member of Vignobles et Découvertes.
“A multi-generational family estate with 38 hectares across Crozes-Hermitage, Hermitage, and Saint-Joseph, certified HVE.”
