About the Winery

Domaine de la Treille (EARL Henrion) is located at the edge of the Saumurois and Coteaux du Layon regions, on soils of clay, silt, and sand in Saint-Macaire-du-Bois. The 42-hectare vineyard brings together the three traditional grape varieties of the appellation: Cabernet, Chenin, and Chardonnay. The estate is certified organic and produces wines in the Saumur and Coteaux du Layon appellations, including still and sparkling wines (Crémant de Loire). The Henrion family has deep roots in the Loire Valley wine tradition.
