About the Winery

Benoît Montel is a talented winemaker in the Auvergne region who studied at the wine school in Beaune and then spent 4 years making wine in Puligny-Montrachet before creating his own domain in 1999. He manages 12 hectares of vines spread across four crus between Riom and Clermont-Ferrand, in conversion to organic farming. His estate is complemented by a négociant activity. The domaine produces wines in the Côtes-d'Auvergne appellation and is recognized as one of the region's sure values, crafting elegant and terroir-driven wines.
