Les Loges de la Folie

About the Winery

Les Loges de la Folie is an organic estate in Montlouis-sur-Loire managed by Valérye Mordelet and Jean-Daniel Kloeckle. Neither come from winemaking families, but since 2005 they have farmed their 7-hectare domain according to organic agriculture principles. The vineyards cover the siliceous hillsides of Husseau, producing wines in the Montlouis-sur-Loire appellation from Chenin Blanc. The estate's name reflects the historic 'loges' or small buildings that dot the landscape of this part of the Loire Valley.
