Clément Klur
About the Winery
The Klur family has been winegrowers since the 17th century, but it was in 1999 that Clément Klur created the domain, covering 7 hectares around Katzenthal, a village nestled in a valley near Colmar in Alsace. Everything here is organic and eco-friendly: biodynamic vineyard management, a round cellar, careful winemaking, and even holiday accommodations. In 2017, the family refocused on hospitality activities and entrusted the management of the viticultural operation to neighboring domaine Léon Heitzmann, which is also operated biodynamically. The wines continue to be produced and marketed under the Klur label, now integrated with the Heitzmann operation in Ammerschwihr.
