Marielle Michot
About the Winery
Marielle Michot is a passionate young winemaker who established her own domain in 2014 in Saint-Andelain, in the prestigious Pouilly-Fumé appellation of the Loire Valley. Coming from a family of winegrowers and following in the footsteps of her father Claude Michot, she now manages approximately 3 hectares of organically certified vineyards (since 2023). Her vineyards are planted on Kimmeridgian marl and clay-limestone soils with flint (silex), the signature terroir of Pouilly-Fumé. She produces wines exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc, crafting wines with tropical fruit notes, fine structure, and steely minerality. Her wines are known for their joyous character, fine acidity, and consistency in quality.
