SCEA du Château de Ligré is a historic wine estate located in Ligré on the left bank of the Vienne River in the Chinon appellation of the Loire Valley. The property features a beautiful 19th-century château built from tuffeau stone and commands approximately 38 hectares of vineyards. The estate has been in the same family since 1923 and is now managed by François Médard, with the cellar directed by the young oenologist Charles Bouly. The estate produces red, white, and Rose Chinon wines from Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc. The wines are known for their freshness, elegance, and ability to express the unique terroir of the Chinon appellation.
