About the Winery

Domaine Roger Sabon is a benchmark producer in the historic Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation of the southern Rhône Valley. Founded in 1952 by Roger Sabon, the family's roots in the region trace back to 1540. Today, the estate is a true family affair guided by Roger's sons, Denis and Gilbert, with winemaking entrusted to Didier Négron. The estate produces several cuvées including the iconic Le Secret des Sabon, a rare wine made from 95% old-vine Grenache. Their philosophy blends respect for tradition with meticulous attention to detail, crafting wines that express both power and elegance. The estate's vineyards span diverse terroirs including the famous galets roulés (rolled pebbles) of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
